It depends on your needs. Printing is great for detailed designs and large areas, while embroidery offers a high-end, durable finish ideal for logos and smaller designs.
If you are unsure which method is best for you, our team will happily advise you based on the artwork you wish to reproduce.

We offer various print methods including screen printing, digital Direct-to-Garment (DTG) printing, Direct-to-Film (DTF) and vinyl heat transfer printing. Each method has its benefits and we apply your designs using the best method that suits the design and the material being customised.
Our experts will choose the best method for your project, but if you have specific requirements please add a note to your order at checkout.
We offer a wide range of embroidery colours based on the Madeira Classic range of threads.
If you are looking for a specific thread colour, you can consult the shade card on this page. Please inform us of any specific thread colours you require in the notes field during checkout.
If you cannot find the colour you need, please make a note during checkout and our team will contact you when processing your order.
Please remember that viewing colours on a screen may not be representative of the colour you would see with the naked eye.
For most garments, you can add up to 4 separate customisations using the website. If you need 5 or more customisations, please contact the office and the team will be happy to assist you. (Note that this does not apply to bundles)
How to add multiple customisations
Printing on fleeces is possible in some cases, but it is not something we generally recommend.
Many fleece garments have a deep or loose pile that can affect print quality, and some polyester-based fleeces can react poorly to certain decoration processes. Issues such as dye migration, inconsistent print appearance and reduced durability can occur depending on the fabric and decoration method used.
Some low-pile or tightly woven fleece products may be suitable for printing using selected processes such as DTF or screen printing. However, in most cases, embroidery is the preferred decoration method for fleeces, as it typically provides a more durable, professional and consistent finish.
If you're considering customising fleeces, our team can advise on the most suitable decoration method for your chosen garment.
Yes, we offer a range of vegan-friendly decoration options and products.
For embroidery, we use Madeira embroidery threads, which are certified vegan-friendly. For printing, our direct-to-garment (DTG) printing process uses water-based vegan-friendly inks.
Many of the garments and accessories available through our supplier network are also suitable for customers looking for vegan-friendly products.
As product materials and decoration methods can vary, we recommend contacting our team if your order requires all garments, accessories and decoration processes to meet specific vegan-friendly requirements. We'll be happy to help you select the most suitable options.
In many cases, yes. Most decorated products include a decoration position option called "Specify in Notes", which allows you to request a decoration location that isn't listed as a standard option on the website.
For example, when ordering a custom embroidered baseball cap, you may only see Centre Front and Specify in Notes as available positions. If you'd like your design embroidered on the side or rear of the cap instead, simply select Specify in Notes and tell us where you'd like the decoration applied.
Please note that not all decoration positions are possible on every product. Factors such as seams, pockets, construction and the decoration method can affect where artwork can be placed. If your requested position isn't suitable, our team will contact you to discuss the available alternatives before production begins.
Yes, we can offer both puff print and 3D embroidery (also known as puff embroidery), although these are specialist decoration methods and are not currently available as standard options to order directly through the website.
What is puff print?
Puff print is a special type of screen printing that uses an additive within the ink. When heated during production, the ink expands to create a raised, three-dimensional effect. It's commonly used on hoodies, sweatshirts and streetwear-inspired garments where a bold, textured finish is desired.
What is 3D embroidery (puff embroidery)?
3D embroidery uses a foam material placed beneath the embroidery stitches to create a raised effect. This decoration method is particularly popular on baseball caps, trucker caps and premium branded headwear where a bold, standout logo is required.
Because these decoration methods require specialist production processes, setup and minimum quantities may apply. The suitability of puff print or 3D embroidery will also depend on the artwork, garment type and decoration size.
If you're interested in either decoration method, we recommend requesting a quotation from our team before ordering. Alternatively, you can place your order and include details such as "Puff Print Required" or "3D Embroidery Required" in the artwork notes. Please be aware that additional charges may apply and our team will review the requirements before production begins.
